Honey color palettes

Honey palettes are the jar held to the window: beeswax, wildflower amber, propolis brown, clover-pale and the dark of the old hive. They suit bakeries, natural goods, gold-toned brands and warm software — sweetness with structure underneath.

Amber goes muddy against orange neighbors. Each palette here separates its honey from its brown by a full lightness step and holds one near-white stop — the wax paper — so the golds stay clear instead of sticky.
