Manuscript color palettes

Manuscript palettes are the illuminated page: lapis ultramarine, vermillion rubric, gold leaf, oak-gall brown and the vellum beneath it all. They suit publishing, universities, whisky, heritage brands — institutions that keep records.

Historical does not mean illegible on screen. Each palette here lifts the vellum toward true light for backgrounds and deepens the oak-gall brown for body text — the two anachronisms that make an old palette survive a modern display.
